Monterre Vineyards is one of my favorite wedding venues in the Lehigh Valley. You might still be in PA, but you'll feel like you were whisked away to southern California. This place makes you feel like you're a guest at a celebrity wedding. Just wait until the ceremony begins and golden rays of sun shine thru the giant oak tree above you. Oh, you think that's incredible? Sunset cocktail hour wins the prize! The owner and staff reign supreme when it comes to service and quality. They are there well before you arrive, making sure every inch of grass is manicured and every delicious bite is ready for you. The sound setup is probably the best I've ever heard outdoors - and that makes a huge difference in how much you and your guests will enjoy the experience.
Colleen + Trevor could not have asked for better at their wedding on May 24th, 2024. The weather was just absolutely perfect. And so was the Bride, thanks to her hair + beauty team (shout out Emma + Among Friends). The Bride and her family first got ready at a separate location - the Glasbern hotel in Fogelsville, PA. (Read more about the Glasbern and their first look here!) Her amazing dress was supplied by, once again, the incredible staff at Silk Bridal Easton. The groom and his family were dressed to impress by the team at C.E. Roth (what a great shade of blue for a Summer wedding!!) It's really neat to see guests trickling in one by one, as they walk down behind the vineyards to find their seat. (But if you want a ride instead, the staff will conveniently transport you!) The violins started to play, the bride walked down with her parents, and the highlight of their ceremony, for me, was the time capsule their new family put together. When they open it up on their 10th anniversary, they'll enjoy re-living this day together, with special items, like their handwritten vows and a signed champagne bottle. The bar and cocktail area was perfectly setup behind the ceremony site, so as soon as they said "I do," everyone was served. Roots Catering is a master at providing hot, mouth-watering appetizers and the best dinner you'll ever have at a wedding. So I was VERY excited to learn they were the caterer at this wedding! Their in-house DJ that evening (DJ Jimbo Entertainment) is one of the most professional and kind persons you could have host - and the reception was so fun that I didn't want to leave that night. Seriously - he is good. I can't wait to return to Monterre!
